Whenever I think about remote control across multiple computers, the first thing that comes into my mind is TeamViewer. Yes, it’s right now the best and the most popular remote controlling & remote file transferring software for computer systems.
It’s far better than the default remote assistance functionality that Windows OS provides, and is my only preference when it comes to remote assistance on computers. I don’t know about any other remote assistance software, and I don’t even need to when I have TeamViewer, but I can say that it works perfectly and I’ll also recommend it as one of the most essential software for your PC.
TeamViewer 8 is the latest version of this awesome remote controlling software, which was released as a stable or final version for Windows and Mac OS X just a few days ago. Meanwhile, it’s (v8.0.x) is still in beta phase for UNIX based operating systems i.e. Linux.

Now, the great thing in this newest version of TV is that it comes up with complete support for Windows 8. Although, the Windows 8 compatibility was packed back within TeamViewer 7 itself, but its support has now been enhanced up to an extent, that there has been released a special touch version of this software, especially for Windows 8 PCs.
It supports all modern multi touch gestures on your computer running on Windows 8 operating system.
Some other new features included in TeamViewer 8 includes session handover which lets you invite another person to the current remote control session to fix problems on the other side easily & instantly, group sharing which allows you to share your existing groups of people with another TeamViewer account, remote printing feature to directly print from the remote computer, comments & noting feature after completing a specific session, meeting scheduling with Microsoft Outlook, session recording i.e. both audio & video, remote audio & video playback, remote account log out and automated system sing off after a remote session.
Apart from that, TeamViewer 8 comes up with a completely new feature i.e. TeamViewer Management Console, that provides you with a web based administration capability to control your entire remote support team, an integrated web connector to help you reach out to your colleagues via the web itself and a comprehensive web based TeamViewer manger.
